... or do you have to tell whoever comes down to pray with you what is wrong? I am of the Freewill Baptist faith.

God knows our prayers before we even pray them. Thats not to say we shouldnt pray. God wants our fellowship with him. Its up to you, if you want to have silent prayer thats fine. Sometimes though a brother or sister in the Lord can be a great encouragment and help ease your burden. I will pray for you, God blessings on you!

Dear Tina B,

The church age ended in 1988! The Lord is no longer using ANY local congregations to bring the gospel. If you will read 2 Thessalonians 2, you will find that satan is now ruling in the local congregations and there is NO possibility of salvation there! God is sending the people remaining in the churches a strong delusion to believe a lie! You better read Matthew 7:21-23. You think you are serving God when in actuality you are serving satan. Look at Matthew 24:15, 16.....these verses tell us that when you see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place (the church) to flee to the mountains (Christ; Psalms 121). The abomination of desolation is satan! Need more Scripture? read the Parable of the wheat and tares. The tares are those people in the churches who "think" they are saved but have never been regenerated (born again). The wheat are the true believers which shall be gathered into the barn (picture of heaven). The tares will be gathered into bundles to be burned (hell; eternal damnation).
Look at Ezekiel 9. The Lord puts His mark of ownership on His children just as satan puts a mark of ownership on his workers. Please read Revelation 18:4 to the end. God is commanding the true believers to get out of the church(es) which have become Babylon. Notice the language the Lord uses here..."Come out of her my people..." Who is the "her"? The "her" is all the local congregations which are now under the dominion of satan. "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."

I attend a Baptist Church and when we go to the alter, the pastor leads the prayer and I pray to in sclience. I have no idea what a "freewill baptist" is.

i like to wish with some volume of quantity. It helps shop me concentrated on what i'm doing. If i'm silent, I sometimes get sidetracked. Then too, at prayer conferences, while you're used to praying out loud, it would not ask your self you to take heed to your voice, and you may pray for actual. (I examine that, and it style of feels to artwork.) greater often than no longer, i'm a huge fan of praying in private. on condition that till now I have been given saved, I genuinely have been a follower of the closet prayer concept. it quite is constructive to wish with fellow believers, and He did for specific say to wish mutually, yet over all, I nevertheless like praying via myself. i'm no longer married, nor have young ones. So audible prayer is something I genuinely have much less of a challenge with than others might. I shop that throughout ideas as a destiny challenge.

Sorry, no alter, nor religious symbols, and no rituals, so no going up to the front for anything, unless you are the one chosen to give the Sunday Bible talk.

I don't pray to dead people. Prayer is just begging. And there's nobody on the other end to hear any prayer.

Nothing fails like prayer.

you should condfess your sins to the people it involves... you dont have to tell some random person about some sort of sin that you have in your life... no... pray to god for forgiveness and if you need to let the person involved know and/or ask that person to forgive you then do that...
