Diego would destroy Leben. Chris is a one shot wonder. Deigo is so technical and powerful there is no way Leben would be able to stuff the takedown, and then it would be ground n pound city.
The only possible way for Leben to beat Diego would be for him to get a lucky shot when Diego is shooting.
I know there are a lot of Diego haters, but you've got to give him some love for the win over Parisyan.

Chris Leben always has that puncher's chance of a quick win and his defense has gotten better since joining the UFC. I have always been impressed with Diego but his improvement does not seem to be going as quickly. In the end, I always favor the fighter that is the most well rounded with a good ground game, so I think Diego would win.

Leben has a head made of concrete, so if he can stop Sanchez when he shoots, he'll stand a chance...however, Diego never gives up on taking a person to the mat for some ground and pound, so it will be a long battle. If it stays standing, Leben will win, but if it goes to the ground, I don't think Leben will be able to stop Sanchez's onslaught.

I think Sanchez would wind up being to much for Leben to handle. He is a terrific athlete, very strong, skilled and intelligent in the ring. Leben is very heavy handed and has a chin like a brick, but is totally out classed. The only chance he will have against Sanchez is if he lands a punch to the face. knockout.

Leben would win if they fight standing & punching.
Sanchez would win a ground fight.
Also I believe Sanchez has better conditioning. Therefore, if the fight was to go into later rounds he would have the advantage.
Diego Sanchez is one hell-of-a-ground fighter...but by the same token, Chris Leben has an iron jaw and heavy, heavy hands. This would make for a decent fight.

Chris Leben is a ******** joke! He's a one trick monkey, he can hit hard thats the extent of his game, while deigo is a prodigy. His ground and pound is comparible to tito ortiz, and his takedown as good as or better than sean sherk. He could afford to further develope his standup but like any good fighter he has a gameplan going into every fight and he sticks to it.
Diego Sanchez (even with the weight difference) would walk through Chris leben.

Diego's polished style against Chris's I just wanna fight anyone anywhere additude, damn I'd have to go with Chris only because he's faced tougher opponents in the MW division like Luigi Fioravanti & Anderson Silva while Sanchez's toughtest fight was against Karo Parisyan who could've beaten him if he'd just kept pushing the fight his way.

Well, Diego is naturally smaller Remember he fought at 155 Leban is more than a tuff stand-up guy. He's trained with some of the best and he's very determined. Diego isn't a big submissions guy he's more ground and pound and I don't think that would work with the bigger stronger Leban

Sanchez would win by taking him down and pounding his way to a TKO or descision victory.
I'd like to see Sanchez vs. Penn.
