Most airlines have a 'job opportunities' link on their website; they will list any hostess/stewardess/flight attendant positions currently available. If they don't have any positions currently available, most will accept a resume to keep on file for a period of time (usually 6 months) to reference when positions do open up.

I would suggest drawing up a professional resume and submitting it via website to as many airlines as possible which service South Africa.

Also, job search websites frequently have listings for airline professionals.

In addition, most secondary schools offer job placement assistance. Check your school to see what help they can offer; many times schools have 'inside' contacts and can get you consideration you might not get with an unsoliceted resume you submit.

Go to your local air line office and get an application, and the requirements and work on the requirements..

In big cities they have air hostess schools, but some make false promises some are good.

Check out other air lines also, the Islamic countries air lines have more difficulties finding air hostess from their countries so they hire a lot of air hostess from other countries.

Take any job with a air line and the transfer, how about Ground Hostess.

Search Internet, for opening with airline.

PS

If you send out letters make sure it is spell checked.

In Canada, it takes a few times before getting an interview. Then you have to speak a second language. There is a lot of competition so keep at it and good luck!!!
