OF Course You Can!!! my take on it is....if you don't treat yourself well how can you expect others too....
JUST TELL YOURSELF "I DESERVE IT!"
I personally recomend you say this with feeling and I mean really mean it at least once a day!!.....don't be afraid to give yourself a treat....in this crazy world we live in it's just basic survival technique.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

You hit the nail with your own question. You just moved their, and throwing yourself a party would seem like you ARE to into yourself. You say you want to have an open-house/ housewarming party- then I say have one. Just leave out your Birthday. I personally would not go to someone throwing themselves a Birthday party. As for a housewarming party I would go. Good luck either way.

Sure, you can but send out invitations for a housewarming and let everybody know it's your birthday ask for monetary gifts. That way you can spend some for the house and treat yourself to something nice too.If you are throwing the party you are footing the bill for the food and enjoyment correct.Yes it will work unless you have selfish, haters and cheap friends. If that's the case girl don't let the free loaders in your home at all.Take your time everything will come in time.

Yes! It is your birthday, do what you want with it! You could sit around and watch movies or throw yourself a big bash! It's your day, it is about what you want, not other people! Hope this helps you, good luck, and happy birthday and housewarming!

No. Have your housewarming at a different time than your birthday, and just have it be that occasion. Take yourself to Mickey D's or somewhere for your birthday if you have no friends or family around.

Yes, but don't call it a BDay party. Call it a 'Want to get to know my new neighbors " party.
Maybe have a BDay cake, bring out later if you feel comfortable.
. You don't want to put it in the invite. That just looks like you are fishing for gifts.
Don't forget to tell them BYOB. You supply set-ups, ice, soda etc.
In case you're unsure, at BYOB parties, they take their stuff back home.
Good Luck and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I've thrown all my birthday parties since I was 18, and I'm 26 now. It's the only way to have everything just the way you like it.

Nothing is wrong with having a little party for yourself. Celebrate life and have some fun once in a while. Have fun.

By all means throw yourself a party and dance like there is no one watching! Have a drink, too!
