It works for me. Take two cans, shake them up equally, tap one and just open the other, post your results here.

No. However, waiting a short time (15-20 seconds) after shaking eliminates the frothing. (I saw this on TV).

actually.. u tap the bottom.
the liquid is in the bottom and the gas is in the top. If u shake them, they mix. so when u tap it, by tapping it at the bottom it makes the gas go to the top and the liquid to the bottom causing it to become normal again. so once u open it all it does if fizz. [basic chemistry]

I have heard that, but don't know if it is true or not. I have been scared to try it if I ever got one shook up because I hate coke baths, so I did not want to chance it...

the best way to eliminate any foam is to get the drink ice cold, this prevent a lot of gases to escape
