my bf and i have been going out for about a month noq but we go to different highschools in the same town (but the town is pretty big so we dont really live close to each other). anyway i talk to every night over the phone but in the one month we've been goin' out i have seen him only 3 times....we always make plans to hang out but then he will cancel the very last minute or never call or go out with his friends or family instead. i talked to him about it once and he said he was sorry and that he wanted to be with me as much as possible so he would try harder. but this weekend he canceled on me twice - saturday he said he was ganna call and make plans but never did and today he called to say he couldnt hang out becuase he was going somewhere with his cousin. i dont want to whine to him about it again but i keep getting hurt and i feel like im the last on his list of priorities...should i just brake up with him?

It sounds like he has another girl more than likely from his own school. If you dont wish to break up with him just give him a bit of time to see if he comes crawling back or calling you as to why you havent called. I wish you the best of luck.

YES! I think he's playing you. He is a poor excuse of a b/f and if you guys don't live near each other, then he should make some kind of an effort to come and see you. You don't have time to sit around and wait for his broken promises. I don't think you will be missing much anyway if you decided to break up with him. He's not there with you anyway. Your current b/f is not good for you, you deserve better than to just sit around waiting on him every week. Find someone who is willing to be more loyal to you as a boyfriend. This guy is trash and he doesn't value the relationship like you obviously do.

wow...only a month and hes already acting like he really doesnt want to hang out with you..
if i was you...dont take it further..the more you take it further the more longer you guys are together the harder it is for you to leave him.
go for some guy who wants to spend every moment he can with you.
draw the line and when he ***** up again and again..i think thats a pretty good sign already..and its only been a month..

No, my best advice is to keep busy. I have been in a similar situation. Stop revolving your life around his. Make your own plans with other friends and even invite him if you really not. and if he cancels go out and have fun with your friends! Its not fun to stress over something like that.

I agree with tda11. You should some things (meeting family/friends, hobbies, etc.) Of course, you'll still ask from time to time. Just give it some time and it should be worth it.

i'd say that it doesn't sound like you are very important to him, and it seems that he would rather hang out with these other people than you, i'd say dump him and find someone that likes to hang out with you.
