any muslim who attempts suicide will go to hell.

but in Jihad ..... the man does not kill himself.....but he kills enemies ....while he fights them with swords, guns, or even bombs.

Islam’s prohibition on suicide, despite what many Muslim moderate apologists like to say, does not signify that the Jihadists who are suicide bombers are necessarily committing acts that are in violation of Islamic tenets. You see it can still be seen as a legitimate act of martyrdom by their ilk as long as the act of suicide bombing endeavors to kill the enemy, and such an act is the only available means to inflict the death toll necessary for a given militant objective. After all, where is the substantial distinction between a man who knowingly kills himself with a bomb, in order to murder others, and a man who runs into a firefight with enemy combatants, knowing full well that the superior firepower of the enemy will most assuredly cause the loss of his life? Both are acts of suicide intended to achieve a belligerent end.

So as hard as Muslim advocates like to distance themselves from their militant brethren, by stating that suicide bombers are some how a heretical sect of Islam, the truth is their actions fall well within the scope Jihad and martyrdom.

Well, if you look at ALL religions you go to hell if you kill, but how many wars have been fought in the name of religion?

I mean it's not just Jihad, Christians have also broken their own rules without batting an eyelid. I'm not condoning suicide bombings by the way.

Suicide is forbidden in Islam
jihad is considered fighting in the name of Allah, purposefully killing yourself is suicide regardless if you killed others or not.
Allah is the Most Merciful and All knowing, only He can judge man

yes, it is wrong in islam to commit suicide, because life is a gift from god and it is sacred. And good point about the suicide bombers, there is a lot of argument amongst muslim scholars as to whether that counts as suicide. I think it does, fighting as a soldier is one thing.. u may or may not die, but to blow yourself up looks like suicide to me. But god knows best
