Ok, so my dog (6 month old pug) got spayed on wed. By thursday night, she had super bad diarrhea. It went on for about a day, we tried feeding her boiled beef with rice and giving her kaopectate. The diarrhea carried over to friday. I called the vet, and told her what was going on. She gave me a perscription for her. Since she took the perscription (metronidazole) at 12 on friday. It is now 3:30 on saturday and she hasn't pooped AT ALL since then. Should i be worried. I made an appoitment to go to the vet tommorow. But until then, is there anything i can do?

Leave the dog alone until the vet see her!!! Otherwise, you may start something again!! She will be fine. Sometimes after a huge bout of diarrhea, it takes a few days to restart the system.
