uneven eyes?
please help

My eyes used to be what I would call "normal" before I screwed up my vision by

using the computer too much
not turning on the lights completely when reading
not getting glasses even though I have some astigmation and nearsightedness in one eye and am a little nearsighted in the other
not sleeping much-swolleness
or as my dad says, sleeping/using my right side of my face more?
or maybe i never exercise and i need to lose weight to fit my small frame and somehow my fat distribution is not right on my face?
my hair is blocking my left eye..

because my left eye is smaller and uneven compared my right? when i took a picture of myself, both eyes look a little crossed. sometimes i have trouble looking other people in the eyes because it makes me uncomfortable and sometimes reading is painful

but i look normal in the mirror? in the mirror what you see isn't what everyone else sees, correct? but in pictures is what everyone else sees.

should i ask the eye doctor

yeah, ask the eye doctor . I think you're worrying a lot over nothing.

You may need an eye exam by an optometrist. It certainly won't hurt. As for the rest of your rather extensive list of self-criticisms, an "eye doctor" can't fix that. You seem to be overly critical of your own appearance. Don't be so hard on yourself. You don't look as bad to others as you think you look to yourself.

Every ones eyes are uneven. One eye is bigger than the other and one eye is higher than the other. And guess what? One hand is bigger than the other, one foot is bigger than the other and on and on.

Check with your MD to make sure you don't have a medical problem with your eyes. Some people are born with eyes that are way off by several inches. I assume that you are not one of these people. That kind of problem, to my knowledge, can not be fixed.
But your problem seems to be more of awareness on your part. Maybe you can learn to disguise it or camouflage your eyes or even to magnify them so that they don't look different from each other. Good Luck.

Clearly your eye problem is disturbing you. Yes you should see an eye doctor now only then can you answer your concerns.

We look different on both sides of our bodies. If you draw a line from your head down to your navel and keep going down to your legs and feet. Have someone look at your eyes and they will be not the same; nostril in your nose different; hair on your scalp thinner on one side. Your fingers are different from the other hand. and this remains on going down on your body parts the same....and the difference....`

Let me guess, your a teener and not happy with yourself? right? Your still maturing, you know that. Your still going to change, your eyes, your body. One "boob" will be bigger then the other or not quite even. You may not walk quite straight. One side of our body, this includes the brain, is not the same as he other. Give it time, God does not rush things. He takes His time on beautiful individuals like people. They are in His image.
