Truthfully, how are you supposed to live AFTER you die? Wouldn't death be some kind of a dip between both lives? What's the point of death then? Isn't it sort of useless?

Sure, so was the crucifixion. So Jesus went 'under' for two or three days... BIG SACRIFICE.

In order for one to live again after death, one must be resurrected to life. If, as some feel, the soul survived the death of the body, what need would there be for a resurrection? Resurrection is for dead people, not live people. Death is the absence of life, not another kind of life. And yet, the Bible consistently teaches resurrection as the hope for the dead.

So, in order to live again, one must be resurrected. Just as in the case of Jesus. Just as in the case of Lazarus.

Death is when the body dies. I believe that our souls live on. By the way, I do not believe that a God need necessarily be a part of this equation.

Much like a caterpillar goes thru a metaphorosis in a cocoon, we are transformed in death to a new 'body' (a life without a 'body').

There are quite a few 'die's mentioned in the bible....we won't, we will in life, we die to ourselves, . But there are lives, too. We will live in paradise, we live through Christ.......

I think taking His word for it, that dying here, means being with Him.

A point to it could be a point made to those left living around you.

No, it's not useless, it is preordained. In the Bible, it tells us that man is appointed to die once, and then the judgement. Then our souls, not our bodies, will go to Heaven or Hell...our choice. Where do you choose to go? My advice, given lovingly, is please choose Heaven...it is so easy to be a child of God! Bless you!

Our body dies but the soul goes on living. There is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ. Blessings.

There is no life for you or anyone else after you die. The only chance to leave your mark or make amends is now.
