I know that first impressions are lasting ones. People look at the outward appearance and see pretty or ugly or something in between. But when your really get to know a person the inner beauty really does stand out. If some one is pretty on the outside and has a awful personality or morals they tend to look ugly and you cant' get past that. But a not so pretty or even ugly person on the outside that has inner beauty is very appealing. So I would have to say pretty is only skin deep. But real beauty is what one finds on the inside of a woman. Some of that would be, Kindness, honesty, loyalty, honor, and someone who is slow to anger. There is much more but this is a start.

A woman is beautiful in every way, every day. What one would call beauty another would call "too fat" or "too thin" but the one thing that is universal is the heart and mind. A woman who can hold her own in conversation and has a true smile from the heart is one of the most beautiful women on earth, no matter the color, size or anything else. I think someone is pretty when they are beautiful on the inside. Their actions make them pretty. Are they kind, genuine, honest, hard-working, compassionate? That's what makes someone beautiful on the inside.
