Yes. this happened to me but then why would you want to see a doctor that doesn't want to see you . There other doctors that would show more concern. I can't quit either but just started Chantrix today. ITs new and works completely different than all of those you listed. Believe me , if it works , I will let the whole world know!! I need help just like you do.

Yes. Physicians are not required to take patients. The doctor may also feel, if you have some chronic medical condition such as heart disease or emphysema, that if you won't stop smoking anything else he may ask you to do will also be ignored and you will both be wasting your time.

A doctor has the discretion to choose which patients he or she will take on. But there is a great physician who will never turn anyone away. That's the God of Heaven who tells us that one of his names is Jehovah Rophe, the God who heals you.

On our own we have small and temporary successes in overcoming the control of our fleshly desires but anyone who turns to Jesus and asks God to receive his Holy Spirit becomes a new creation in Christ and obtains supernatural power to overcome bad habits like cigarette smoking.

I was a major drunk for all of my adult life before I became a Christian but now thanks to the power of God in my life I haven't had a drink in over 5 years. Sometimes I get tempted but He is always there, just a prayer away to help me to overcome in trying times.

Yes, for the most part, doctors aren't required to take anyone as a patient.

it's not hard to quit.
You have to want to quit. I started at 12 and quit at 34.... hard yes impossible no. if you really want to then do it... and I don't think a doctor can stop seeing you but he may refuse to talk you on. if you do not fit within his criteria then he may not want to take you on..

Unfortunately, yes, but this is because of pressure from insurance companies--which doctors are subject to as much as their patients.
