Why did Zeus put Achilles (or Sirius) in the sky?

I m not certain but i believe when he died in Troja he was taken from the battle field by his mother Thetis who was a godess. Half gods didnt just die like the common mortals, they usually went to Olymp and joined the Olympian gods. I m not sure why Achilees was put in the sky. He is a star now anyway.

he was put there for bad behavior. i'm sure it's there somewhere in the text book.
