Yep, I still get together with family and friends, have a nice turkey dinner on Christmas Eve and then exchange gifts on the big day.

On Easter, we get together, have a nice lunch, look for eggs (yes, I still look for Easter eggs and I'm in my 20's.... it's not immature!!), trade candies we don't like for candies we do like, and then pig out.

Yes - Christmas is for family, regardless of what you believe or don't believe. We get together, have a big meal, play games, and exchange gifts. The difference is, there's no prayer, no churchgoing, it's a purely secular activity for my family. As for Easter, I don't do anything. Well, last year I got an Easter basket from my family, so I ate a chocolate bunny. Again, only the secular aspect applies. Christmas for us is just a tradition, nothing more, and a good excuse for a large (and very busy!) family to get together once a year. To me, that's the most important part - being with the people you love.

I am an agnostic and I see my family a couple days after christmas to exchange gifts and have dinner. My husband is a christian and will sometimes go to church sometimes not. According to his family custom we exchange our gifts to each other on christmas eve. We do not put up a tree usually and we usually just have a nice dinner and watch some football.

I don't celebrate Easter at all.

I'm Agnostic and know some Atheists. Of course we celebrate at this time because it is also the Solstice, which ancient people celebrated. Many traditions were created to "draw back the sun" into the northern hemisphere. The Christmas tree is a pre-Christian tradition. The Easter egg is also pre-Christian.

Did you think Chrisitans invented holidays?

On Christmas, I exchange gifts with my family & friends.
On Easter, I get served first at IHOP. Really, I just sleep in cause it's a Sunday.

I celebrate those days because of fact they are relaxing....... as maximum folk do. Christmas and Easter has been grew to become thoroughly secular (in case you probably did no longer word) with the completed Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus. via the way.... in case you probably did no longer understand those 2 trip journeys are the two PAGAN in beginning place. Dec twenty 5th become the wintry climate solstace occasion, and Easter become the vernal equinox. they have definitely no foundation in Christianity to this point as their dates. Jesus (as you look to no longer be conscious) become pronounced to be born interior the spring, no longer the wintry climate.... however the Christians desperate to take the Pagan trip journeys and use them. The Roman Emeror desperate to merge Pagan traditions with the hot Christian ideals to ward off conflict. So in actuallity you're celebrating Pagan trip journeys..... does that make you Pagan, i think of no longer! The occasion of those days for non-believers are no longer the occasion of human beings. it quite is like thanksgiving..... no man or woman want be celebrated to rejoice with the day. you have kin get togethers and substitute presents and that's constructive. Jesus want no longer be a factor of the festivities. it is likewise like Halloween.... it quite is an excuse to have a relaxing day interior the 300 and sixty 5 days.

Easter - nothing out of the ordinary; it's just another day. Christmas - eat and exchange presents, as good a day to do so as any other.

Can't speak for all people, but for me it's a cultural thing. We listen to christmas music, we have a tree, etc. Of course we don't go to church on Christmas or Easter. But other than that, it's pretty much the same...

It varies from atheist to atheist; but yes, many do still celebrate Christmas or Easter just for the sake of family/community.

Ideally, vacation in a non Christian nation. Elat, in Israel, is a nice place Christmas. For Easter, Marrakesh would be nice.
Last place you want to be, tho', is a Muslim country during Ramadan.
