Darn, is a derivative of Damn...It means your guy is too polite to cuss in front of you. How nice! It also means he would like to see you but can't because of some other reason than you. God Bless, have fun!

what context was this in? if he said this after planning something like a date and he didnt offer any other time to re-schedule then it means he doesnt like you. if he was worried about making you mad he would have some sort of new plan to make it up to you.

Depends on if he really wanted to see you, but couldn't or he went over board on trying to seem disappointed that he couldn't see you for having other plans behind your back.
