im 6,4 and weigh 160 pounds at the moment, i have been trying to gain weight over my high school years and nothin has happened since then. my goal for the future is to weigh 230 and with my present hight of 6,4,please advise me some help so i can stop thinking of myself as a thin person.thanks

Most people gain weight by bulking up on carbos and calories. Lots of milk shakes and sweets. But if your body is slim by design, and your muscle structure doesn't want to bulk up, there is nothing you can do.
