We are drafting a new constitution for our Ladies Section (which includes the roles and responsibilitiesof committee members) one of our Lady members has asked this question. The committee are all volunteers who receive a small honorarium. The Lady in question doesn't think we should include the detail of waht the committee members are expected to do.We think it important as otherwise no one would know how the committee is expected to carry out it's functions. Any help gratefully received.

She probably doesn't want to include the responsibilities on committee members in the constitution because it is a legal document. If they aren't there, you can't prove they weren't met.
