I have been told that mine is the best they have ever had. I taught myself. When you grow up on fish sticks and tater tots you learn how to cook! Just curious as to what others successes have been. Also, I make the worst stew. Any tips? I can't seem to get the crock pot thing down.

lasagne noodles
spicy sausage
ground beef
mushrooms
onions
garlic
ricotta, cottage, mozzerella, and provolone cheese
spaghetti sauce (homemade or store brand)

As for stew I don't use a crock pot. I use a oval oven roaster. Put 2 chuck roasts in the bottom and make a packet of onion soup. Pour the soup over the meat, put the lid on and cook at 350 for an hour per pound. (usually 3 hours) After an hour i put the carrots in. After the second hour I put the sliced taters in and whole peeled yellow onions. After it is cooked I cut the meat, then I thicken the juice with cornstarch, then add everything back together. Good luck!

Our lasagna is a family affair. Of cooking noodles, mixing ricotta, mozzerella and parmesian cheeses with parsley. We make a good ragu from Pastene kitchen ready tomatoes and saute beef and veal. Then we start the layer process - and each layer has the sauce with mozzerella cheese sprinkled over it.

As for a nice cook it all day (I don't use crock pots) I like to saute in olive oil a chuck roast. (Just to brown the sides.) I go to the refrigerator and empty it of the left over carrots, celery, red peppers... I stopped adding onions but you might like and can eat them and of course, small potatoes. After the meat is sauteed - I add in 2 cans of chicken broth and 2 cans of water plus all my left overs. I keep it on a low flame for 3 to 4 hours. The meat is nice and soft and it brings back many memories of large family dinners. Hope you try it.

I make a pretty good lasagna, and all the people that have had it keeps bothering me for the recipe or when I am going to make it again.
first I make two sauces, a white sauce for the chicken and a tomato based sauce for the beef.
I layer the tomato based sauce then the noodles then the beef and mozzarella cheese. then the noodles then the white sauce with the chicken. If you really want the recipe just email me.

Homemade tomato sauce with meat
lasagna noodles
ricotta cheese
mozzarella cheese
parmesan cheese
green olives

Your meat needs to be browned before putting in crockpot. I coat meat with seasoned flour then brown in oil. This helps give stew a rich stock base. I'd put some water into skillet to get all of the meat and flour off bottom of skillet to put into crockpot.
