Heard this on radio before,A person who was blind from birth rang in and said because they had never seen anything they didn't 'see anything in their dreams, however a person who hadn't always been blind did see things in their dreams as they had memory of sight.

The area of the brain that is responsible for perceived images and color is still active in a blind person. When you're asleep, you aren't using you eyes to gather information, you're brain is generating it on it's own. If the person lost sight over time, they would have stored images. If they were born blind, they only have auditory dreams as the brain doesn't have stored images to refer to.
For the most part though, a blind person's dreams feature the other senses that are now more dominant.

My guess would be if they were born blind, then probably not as they wouldn't know what anything looked like...but perhaps some vague images would appear in dreams based on what they think something looks like...
People who had once been sighted, and went blind, probably see things in their dreams just as a sighted person would as they would have the memories of objects, color, shapes, etc...

This is one of the best questions I've ever read. it's very intriguing and makes you think hard. I'd hope so that they could see their dreams. I'm sure they're the only ones that would know and the 2nd closest would be a nuerologist( brian doctor) or pyschologist, they know a little about dreams. I'm not sure if it'd be exactally the same as how we view ours if they view them at all but ALL people do dream, thousands of dreams a night, we just don't retain the memory of most of them.

If blind from birth, sounds yes with imagination and feelings.
Blind after death, certainly will and perhaps more than most
in real life images kept in their memory.

Yes, The dreams are different though, people that have been unable to see from birth have no knowledge of colour or what certain objects look like. they go by touch, smell and sound. its hard to imagine not knowing what your own name looks like

I would think so, as they are in your sub-consciounce (I think thats the wrong spelling). You would'nt or rather don't use your eyes to see your dreams. Unless your dream is having a nice car or anything like that and it becomes a reality.
Hope i helped.
