Only you can answer that question, but You can have my opinion for what it's worth.
If the problem of legality doesn't concern you, then the only other significant consideration can be health.
I agree the the medical usage of pot, and feel that it can be if significant benefit to some people. If used purely for social or relaxation purposes, then I would suggest limiting usage to say once per week, at a time when there is no pressure, and nothing else interfering. I would strongly advise against use in conjunction with alcohol, or tobacco. If used on a spiritual basis, by remembering true nature and true freedom, then it's fine.

That depends on a lot of things friend. My personal belief is that it should be legalized, or at the very least, decriminalized. You can get into trouble with the law if you are caught with a bunch of pot, and probably do some time. On the other hand, you might have good reason for taking that risk. Without more information, I can't tell you to stop or continue, but I can tell you the number one rule of pot smoking, don't get caught. Do some research, decide for yourself. It's a lifestyle choice.

I say most definitely don't that stuff messes with you bad, long term damage is lifelong, and not many people trust pot-heads. I belive it to be in your best interest overall to stop, even though it will be very hard to break the addiction. Trust me, I've seen first hand the effects of smoking pot, my uncle is addicted and after only 2 weeks of smoking pot he got into a bad accident which broke both arms, both collarbones, and several ribs were cracked/broken. he recovered eventually, but it left him unable to work for a while, so he lost his job. Since he was found with drugs at the incident, VERY few will hire him. All this in only two weeks, so, yeah quit as soon as you possibly can, period.

I used to smoke too. I had to quit because I needed to pass drug tests for work.
There are virtually no harmful side effects to smoking pot. Studies have shown that the chances of a person who smokes only pot of developing cancer is the same as for people who don't smoke at all.
If it interferes with your ability to accomplish your goals, then you should at least slow down, if not quit entirely.
Last, I think that pot should be legalized, but that still doesn't make it legal. You could get arrested and have to deal with the system, and that sucks.
In conclusion, if you are still getting your things done, and you can smoke in places where you are very unlikely to get caught, I don't see any problem with it.
In fact, take a swat for me!
PS: I've been reading what people are saying and here's some facts.
Cannabis doesn't contain 4000 carcinogens. It has about 400. That's a pretty big difference!
Just for the record, a cup of coffee has more than 500, but nobody is screaming about that. Hell- leaf lettuce has over 100!!!
Marijuana is not physically addictive, despite what other people have answered. It is no more addictive than chocolate. Let me tell you, if you can't go without chocolate, you have some serious problems.
Marijuana is BY NO MEANS more harmful to your lungs than cigarettes. People that smoke a pack of cigarettes (20 cigs) a day by far make up for in quantity what pot lacks in quality. I am not defending anyone who smokes over 20 joints a day. These people have issues.
Cannabis has a chemical in it that prevents tumor growths. Pot smokers are no more likely to get cancer than people who don't smoke!
I don't know where half of these people are getting their information. They should really do more research and stop talking about things they know nothing about. There are good reasons not to smoke- mainly, because it is illegal. There's no need to make up lies about it and claim that "it will ruin your life" or "my uncle was addicted after only two weeks and he got in a car accident and ...."
This persons uncle got into a car accident for driving stoned. The problem wasn't that he was stoned, the problem was that he was driving stoned!!!
Someone had a family member die "because they were smoking too much pot"
Pot has NO OVERDOSE LEVEL. You can't die from smoking pot.
Someone else said you could start saying your prayers now because you are going to die. WHO ISN"T?
Pot only"screws up your life" if you let it. Just don't be stupid about it.
As far as the criminal repercussions might go. Very few organizations are going to exclude you from a job for simple possession. Just don't sell it. Even the legal restrictions for becoming PRESIDENT aren't going to be violated. You can still be a lawyer. You can still work for the CIA. You just can't work for the FBI or the DEA. So what? Chances are that you weren't going to do that anyway!!
About your sentence and grammar structure- they are fine. Ninety percent of the people telling you to quit don't even capitalize the first letters in the sentences.
Oh- to compare the average pothead to Ozzy is retarded. He snorted enough cocaine to kill the entire population of China. I don't think you can fairly attribute his stupidity to weed.
There are plenty of fuctional potheads in our society. No need to give the drug a bad name for any reasons other than the truth. It is illegal. That is weed's most dangerous quality.

cigarettes have 4000 carcinogens in them.
Pot has 3 times that amount.
It is your choice. I think the fact you asked, you want someone to tell you yes or no.
I, as a Nurse, say no. It does destroy brain cells.
I have a rule in my life when it comes to hard questions.
The 10, 10, 10 rule.
In 10 weeks, months, or years, is this going to matter, or have an affect on my life.
Only you can decide that.
Good luck
Wishes for the best :)

I don't smoke pot, actually I have even given up smoking cigarettes two weeks ago. I strongly believe however, that smoking pot now and again is much better than getting drunk every weekend. Smoking pot will not damage your lungs as much as drinking will damage your liver. So: Just don't over-do it!

As long as you go to work/school everyday and don't smoke it until you get home and wash yourself after so you don't stink of it. Who cares.
Just remember what's important and make sure your money and time go towards those things first.
It's no different than drinking just do it in moderation so you don't fry your brain.

It's probably best to quit. Since you are considering it, I would guess you've already made up your mind. Overall, it's better for your health to quit, but keep some stash for medicinal purposes.
