do you know any good voice recorders?

i need one for a semenar i am going to next months, but i am not sure they allow them so i need one i can fit in my shirt and that will record from 9-5pm. if i will need to buy extra tapes i will. i want to make sure i get the most out of this semenar.

I just bought an iPod for my wife to do this with. There's a good microphone called XtremeMac MicroMemo that turns the iPod into a Voice recorder with good audio quality, battery life and tons of recording space. I don't think it will go 8 hours straight, however.
