Ronald Reagan wasn't even a good actor much less a great President.Nancy was the boss in that marriage.
That amnesty was a failure because it didn't stop illegal
aliens it actuality, after it was granted, the number in the
illegals grew right back up to the same amount they granted amnesty too.It was a dismal failure to everyone.
You need to really check your facts on that amnesty.

I am neither a kid nor a liberal whack job ,perhaps you need a lesson in good manners.Reagan was a joke and he was well on his way to senility before his presidency was over.Try stating facts not calling names you sound like the kids you talk about..

You know he granted amnesty to a few who were here. But tried to get a wall built between the borders. Then it was a small problem. If what he wanted had been done there would be no problem today.

No, we went along with it because it was him asking and we believed he really would enforce the laws. And HE might have, but the later administrations didn't.

Also, though, I don't think anyone had focussed on the embattled position of the middle class yet. It was all just starting.

I was pretty young, though, and I know I never thought about it. I just thought 'amnesty would be nice' if it was a one time only thing.

ronald reagan thought ketcup was the equal to tomatoes-so he pulled the real thing from school meals and substitued them ketcup.

ironic enough (or what is?) the heinz company had donated millions to him.

reagan also started the tuition raising (because as he once put it-if you can afford to go to college you can afford to pay a bit more)

he also (wrongly) snitched out half of his hollywood actors (at the request of nixon) calling them communists-while then taking their roles in films.

he also once said that if it wasn't for his generation that we'd all be speaking german now ( all historians laugh at this-we should be thanking the russians) but funny enough he couldn't say HIM because HE DIDN'T NOTHING TO FIGHT IN THE WAR.

he watched from home and later would take others glory in his name.

talk about scum.

Is that how you rate Presidents by picking out one decision? I don't think amnesty is a good thing any time but he defeated the Soviet Union and paved the way for freedom for millions of people. Not to mention that he cut taxes and set us up for one of the greatest growth periods in our nation. Do you want me to tell you how proud I was of Clinton and Lewinsky?

Ronald Reagan was one of our greatest presidents.
He knew that the soviet union did not have the money to compete with the US. So we started the star wars program. this scared to death the russians. they could not compete. Regan knew it. but no one else understood.
while the russians were willing to give up everything to stop our funding of this project. regan pushed forward. while everyone critized him.
but he did prevail. the soviet union went bankrupt. and the wall fell.

I feel so bad that these stuped kids on here do not know the truth.
they have been brain washed to be liberal wack jobs.
shame on you. all of you who know nothing.

So, truthfully, your question might properly be boiled right down to: "I hate Reagan, and everybody else could be as smart as me". i'm sufficiently previous to keep in mind what the financial device became like whilst Reagan got here into place of work. I keep in mind the ten% inflation, and the 20% expenditures of interest. I keep in mind human beings no longer having the flexibility to purchase gas on particular days. i do no longer "worship" him--I admire him. I additionally properly known that he and his adminstration wasn't suitable. even with the undeniable fact that it became a damn sight greater advantageous than what we would had. i think of Reagan could have been flattered by ability of your comparision of him to Thatcher. yet i'm additionally guessing which you're no longer sufficiently previous to keep in mind what a recommend, darkish place Britain might desire to be interior the 1970's. strikes have been simple--you are able to awaken one morning, discover out the prepare drivers had desperate in one day to pass on strike. and because a number of of human beings trusted public transportation, maximum folk purely did no longer pass to artwork that day. no longer that it unavoidably mattered, because of the fact a good style of companies had long previous to 3 or 4 day workweeks because of the fact there wasn't sufficient electrical energy. This wasn't some 0.33 worldwide hellhole-this became London. on an identical time as I consider fairly some the presidents you record, are you advantageous you prefer to contain somebody like Wilson, who became an "out of the closet" racist? And what approximately FDR ordering the confinement of over one hundred,000 human beings because of the fact they have been "Japs"? If GWB had carried out that with Arab-human beings after 9/11, you are able to have been maximum suitable the march to burn down the White abode. curiously, the U. S. government at last apologized for the the jap Internment, and paid over $a million.5 billion in reparations to those that were locked up or their families. do you prefer to wager which president signed that into regulation? i'm going to provide you a sprint: his call began with "R", and ended with "onald Reagan".
