you think The US are bad people? HA!
While migrants in the United States have held huge demonstrations in recent weeks, the hundreds of thousands of undocumented Central Americans in Mexico suffer mostly in silence.
The level of brutality Central American migrants face in Mexico was apparent Monday, when police conducting a raid for undocumented migrants near a rail yard outside Mexico City shot to death a local man, apparently because his dark skin and work clothes made officers think he was a migrant.
They force them to strip, supposedly to search them, but the purpose is to sexually abuse them," she said.
Others said they had seen migrants beaten to death by police, their bodies left near the railway tracks to make it look as if they had fallen from a train.

My husbands family lives in Chiapas Mexico, about 30 mins from the Guatemalan border, we went very close and saw the border station, and there was no one there working. His uncle says that people walk accross all the time and no one does anything. So that doesnt really go along with your "story" does it.

Your question is full of mistakes. You can easily see that its just an inflamotory question. Mexico is not the wealthier nation in Latin America (Argentina, Chile and Costa Rica have highest GDP per capita than Mexico). The great majority of the other Latin American countries are not very much behing Mexico, it wouldn't worthy emmigrate to a country where the GDP per capita is 20% or 30% bigger. The number of Central and South Americans living in Mexico is nothing more than 70.000 in a country with a population of 100 millions, it's definitly not a problem. If the security in boundary with Guatemala is high is because of U.S. pressure, because Mexico is half-way to United States. People enter in Mexico to go to USA not to stay there, if Mexico has tough immigration policies is on your help. I don't know why you lie to make a point.

I don't see how it matters nor why anyone should even care how Mexico deals with migrants. That is in Mexico not here. Their problems are their own problems.
The deal is migrants or not they are illegal here in the USA and our current laws are good enough to take care of the problems. We just simply need to enforce them. If the employer were to be jailed and fined just like they did with Tyson and Walmart both from Arkansas. Both quit hiring illegals so why would this same thing not work with other business? A person can only afford to come back to the USA so many times being the cost is so high. I say work them on a prison farm for a little while to pay for deporting them and send them back and put the business owner in jail and shut down their business or force them to sale it.
Should take care of it.

Actually Mexico isn't the wealthiest country in Latin America. By the way, when you read all those numbers about the yearly income of Mexico, have you thought how many millions of dollars actually come from the illegal immigrants that send money to their families from the US?
Anyways, I know because of many friends that I have from Central American countries other than Mexico that they are treated as inferior people. According to some of them, they got stopped a couple of times by police officers because they got recognized by their accents. The cops wanted them to pay them a bribe so that they don't take them jail for being illegal immigrants in Mexico. The amazing thing is that my friends were there legally, as tourists.
Also, as a personal experience, about 8 years ago, I was flying from CA to Peru. For that trip, I had to wait for 2 hours in the airport to switch planes. However, the police came to me and told me that I had to pay some taxes in order to be in Mexican territory, otherwise I wouldn't be able to leave the country. That was ridiculous first, because the airport is international soil and second, because I was just switching planes and staying there for less than 2 hours. Not only did they make me pay their stupid taxes but to pay them I had to walk to the very other side of the airport, which was kind of a labyrinth. At the end, I actually lost my flight and after a huge argument the airline decided to send me in another plane (and since economic class was full they sent me in first class -the only good thing of all this-).

Does the U.S. treat their people any different? Mexico treats their people horribly. Yes, this is true and evident but so does the United States. Looks who is running both countries. Besides this, Mexico is a third world poverty country. It's just the number 1 on the list of third world countries ( or so).

God point. Mexico is hell for illegal immigrants. They are robbed by police, scammed by opportunists and crooks. Plus, they have this detention centers, jail-like, where they loom for months (years) after their situation is resolved or someone pays for their plane ticket. There has been reports of rape and robbery in those detention centers run by the Ministry of the Interior.

I have read similar accounts of Mexico's intolerance of immigrants, which makes them look horribly hypocritical of US policies, does it not?
