Because they're immersed in meaningless dogma.

I honestly do not have an answer for you but I am sorry that you have been hurt by Christians.
Years ago I went to a christian school and I had recently had a nervous breakdown and some of the teachers were very unkind and not compassionate.
I learned what NOT to be as a christian because I know what it is like to be targeted and embarrassed so I would never do this to anyone else.
Matthew 7:12 says Do unto others as you would have them do unto you in layman's terms treat people the way you want to be treated.
No body is perfect and we all sin and that includes Christians but Christians are not to use their freedom as a cover up for evil either.

because all they have is a feel good religion and not a real relationship with God so they act holy so they can show an image to people, no different than that bad boy at the bar trying to pick up chicks, many christians like to impose an agenda, especially on weak people, so they can get people to follow them and have a group of people together so they can be happy and feel good about themselves, no different than than anywhere else, i have found some good christian friends here and there online, and i do chat with them and i find them to be sincere. The bible has many interpretations but christians in general like to form interpretations and make people follow them. and 1st john 2:27 clearly states that God reveals to us the scriptures.
Ive heard this many time that church leaders will tell me that "christians are not perfect" well thats not the issue here, yes i understand that people are not perfect, but if christians are judgemental and hypocrites do you think if they act that way by mistake that they should apologize then? i never see that, so that tell me they accept that behavior in their lives and no repentace in their lives. if i acted like that i would apolagize.

it depends. some people go by what the bible says and others take it in another direction, to the point of judging others. that isn't what someones relationship with God is about. christians aren't supposed to be judgemental. you have probably run across some not so nice christians, they are probably compassion-less.
hypocrites....i see that a lot in the catholic church. i'm still new at the whole christian thing though...just getting started in a church and have a young family. i was brought up in 2 different kind of churches, catholic and baptist...
please don't think that everyone is like that...i don't judge people because i haven't exactly been a model citizen my whole life, i've done things i regret. i am of the belief that you can't judge someone unless you have walked in their shoes, we aren't here to judge anyway.
i do think we all have a little bit of hipocracy in us...whether we know God or not....it's human...

Well I'm with the old saying, "if you know better, do better". And I would think a christian would know right from wrong in the first place. That's what all of the teachings are supposed to be about. So, let me get this human thing right. I can claim a religion, not live up to the expectations and continue on with my life preaching to everyone else about how they can live their lives better. But I don't have to live by the same standards. Sounds lik
sounds like hypocrisy to me. so basically, religious people are trying to live by standards that they know they'll never be able to live up to. Interesting.

Why are they hypocrites? Because they aren't perfect.
Why are they judgemental? Well, you have to be discerning to tell between someone being "judgemental" and you feeling guilt for something they said. The two could be related, or it could be words piercing your heart. Some Christians, I'll admit, can be judgemental (well, all Christians are probably judgemental at one time or another), but you can't put that blanket statement over all Christians, because it just isn't true.

Christians are only human the same as everyone else so they get to choose between all of the same human traits. They are even known to stereotype just as you have done.
Unfortunately, some of them make poor choices.

Most Christians will not judge you . Just like most atheists don't post questions trying to anger believers. I am sure you would not be guilty of ever doing that. God bless you.

They aren't, you just think that everyone who claims to be a Christian really is, when most aren't. You have no idea what a real Christian really is, and neither do most on here who claim to be Christians.
Actually, atheists are the most judemental and hypocritical people on here.

not all Christians are. But those who are it is just because they are human and make mistakes too. Like everyone in the world.
