I'll never forget. I was in the Navy, things in my life were not good,my life seemed empty and I was home sick. It wasn't a good time. I was walking down the long prier to my ship and I was talking with God. I was telling him how sorry I was for all the bad things I had done and asking him to forgive me and help me in my life and even though I had heard these words many times before, these words spoke to me as if delivered directly by God's messenger.... "Believe in me and you will have eternal life". It was as though I had been brought back to life. I was so happy. I can't even describe how great it was. Like I said "I'll never forget".
So when life trys to get me down I remember that day and those words.

Dear Osirus,
"It is finished". This is what the Lord saidn after He had suffered the eternal wrath of God for His elect. That is, before He actually died physically He had made the full payment for the sins of those He had chosen before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-5). The resurrection from the tomb on Sunday was the proof that physical death nor the second death (Revelation 20) could hold Him. "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."

Since Jesus is god, I'll throw these in:
Jeremiah 2:30 In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
