I I met up with an old work colleague on a dating site earlier in the year, since then we have been chatting online and have done some gentle flirting... I went to his work place, (not as a stalker but since its a recreational place where he works) and I said hi as I walked past but he didn't speak, we chatted online last night and I suggested that we met up and I was as open as I could about how I felt about him but he hasn't replied, and hasn't been online since, What have I done wrong? Have I been too overpowering / too forward?

If he works in someplace recreational one would assume he probably works weekends. its more than likely to be the busiest tiime of the week and he perhaps feels too rushed into discussing personal stuff. men definately don't do rushed when it comes to feelings. if i was in your position, i'd wait until about tuesday night if he's not replied then just send him a short e-mail enquiring if he's ok and if there was anything wrong and if you have no reply from that then he's not interested.

Good luck and i hope it all works out for the best. the most important thing to remember is to do whatever comes narturally to you cos thats what will appeal to mr right whoever he maybe

There could be many reasons. He could be married or wants to take things slowly. One reason may be that we all say things online or in texts that we don't say face to face. IEither way, i don't think it is because you have been too forward

noooo....at least you know where you stand now...let go of him and find someone who IS interested in you , doesn't leave you guessing , and is not rude enough to drop you like a brick!
Don't waste anymore time on him....you are single - the worlds your oyster!...invest yourself somewhere else :-)

he's with someone else and is pretending to be someone he isn't online. drop him now before you get hurt. if he wouldn't even acknowlege you then his girlfriend must work with him
