It's about time we turned those dated places of worship into pubs/casinos/super fun happy slides. Come on people, we're living in the 21st century, there is no place for that superstitious mumbo-jumbo.

Absolutely cracking idea. We are well overdue for a secular state. If all religions were banned across the country, who could possibly complain about that.

Well, only the numpties that are under the delusion that being religious somehow bonds them to other religious numpties.

Why do we have to pussyfoot around other people's personal belief in religious dogma. Sure they may be content living a lie, using religion as an emotional crutch, to help them through a particularly hard life, but what about all the others without that excuse. Where do they get off being so righteous when it is them brain washing their kids and deliberately missunderstanding simple facts of life.

How absurdly ridiculous do you have to be before you get banned in this country anyhow?

If religion was banned, how would you go about enforcing it ? It would be like making sex, breathing, or eating against the law.
I agree about the superstitious mumbo-jumbo, but I'm not in favor of laws that can't be enforced.

I agree with banning all religion totally. Use the churches, synagogues, temples for something useful like helping out the homeless, the abused, the poor, etc.
While we're at it, the Vatican should be raided and all the money given to the poor buggers it was stolen off in the first place and all the priests, bishops, and the pope held accountable for their crimes against humanity!

,Yes I am in favour, I am of course atheist, but I have no real objection to anyone believing in whatever God!
I don't think they need take up space by having meeting places, they can meet in each others homes and pray and give each other 'comfort' etc!
The land occupied by the churches and Mosques, and temples, etc could be put to better use!
In fact why if people believe in God, do they need a religion at all, this only causes separation between groups, isn't a belief in God enough?? If they 'believe' why do they need 'teachers' Priests high dignitaries, leaders etc etc, buildings, temples?? What a waste of time and space!!
Where do I vote??
What no vote?? I wonder why not??

No some of the Christians are okay-they're just normal people in comparison with their counterparts in the US. Most of them I know are honest enough to admit that their religion is going down the plughole anyway without being banned.

I think all places should remove religion from their government as that no place has completely 100% population in agreement on religion.

I also feel that religon should be free for the individual person's choice as that no one has the right or wrong answer (My religious perspective) so there for you can not expect anyone to agree on anything.

Yes, but why stop there? The entire world should be secular.

Religion is the most useless aspect of any culture. All it does is promote ignorance and hatred towards others. Religion has never contributed anything positive, and should be abolished from the world. Its time for mankind to start thinking for themselves, and to stop being led around like sheep by the imaginary words of an imaginary thing.

Too late.
Britain is already well on its way to becoming a predominately Muslim state.

Your mainline denominations are dying off.
A spiritual void is in place.
Islam is filling the void.

Maybe you are not willing to be "religious," but that just means you will be considered an infidel.
Your eventual choice will be Allah, or death.

Wickedness flourishes when good men do nothing.
