He will have mercy on all that have believed and trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross. He died for our sins, He was buried and took our sins away and He rose again the third day for our justification. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Dear Lord,
thank you for for having mercy on me, a sinner. Without your forgiveness and Love, i wouldn't be able to spend eternity in Heaven with you.
Amen

agree but I do not like the wording we should not repeat things by roat as the phatasies did ask but in you own words. more '' thank you Lord (Jesus) for dieing for my sins, I pray you will be with me and guide me this day''
use your own words we are all sinners and that is why Jesus went to the cross for our sins he did it in mercy you only need to accept it

Sorry, Christ is not the "son of God".
You should ask forgiveness from the One who created Jesus (PBUH), God Himself.

Luke 18:38, the context may be quite important right here. additionally, question for Don H, if there have been no thought of sin there could be no clarification for sense of right and incorrect? without sense of right and incorrect there could be no order. without order there is chaos. with or without the assumption of prepared faith, mankind has chanced on a ought to have 'sin', antithetical to constructive social order and prevalent mores of any society..

As a public display to make people think you're Christian, perhaps, perhaps not. This is not question to be asked of people, but a person request, made in private, for no one to see or hear.
