Every true Christian goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Incidentally, the typical Jehovah's Witness knocks at hundreds of doors each year. He has already experienced degrading behavior from householders, some of whom: stand there naked, mimic Satanists, proposition lewd acts, brandish weapons, sic dogs, scream profanities, accuse crimes, and call Witnesses anti-American (inside the USA) or pro-American (outside the USA).

Fascists have called Witnesses "communists". Communists have called Witnesses "fascists".

Haven't you ever heard of 'hedging your bets'? Simple risk vs. reward analysis should make anyone very reluctant to abuse these ministers.

(Acts 5:38,39) I say to you, Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, you may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”

Jehovah's Witnesses are going to knock on your door unless you specifically and unequivocally tell them that you do not want them knocking, or if they fear for their own safety. Nothing else will really deter them, so you would be going to a lot of effort to accomplish nothing but pleasing Satan.

Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

All I can say is it would have to be Jehovah's Witnesses or the Mormon's, because the rest of you do not have enough Bible Knowledge to go from door to door and carry on a serious Bible conversation.

For those that say they come to the door “nude” all I would say is “you must be missing some brain cells” because no one in their right mind would deliberately come to the front door because of a Religious Organization knocking or ringing doorbell. By the way, each State has facilities, a building or place that provides a particular service, that take care of people like this, they are called a “Mental Institute.”

And the JWs take place each and every now and then... constantly early mornings, dang it. however the different 50% of me lives in dorms and Mormon missionaries or JWs by no ability ever ever take place there so i think you're style of no longer the only one :)

A Mormon came to the door during dinner one day when I was younger and my mother pulled a very pathetic face, said "Sorry, the MAN of the house isn't home" and shut the door on their face.

Galatians 1: 6-9

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

I answered the door naked, and said " I can't believe you people keep losing him. Come in maybe he's in the kitchen or possibly the bathroom."

They dropped thier jaw and went away. I havent had a knock on my door from them in about 4 yrs now.
