This was a lovely, fruity wine from Yugoslavia. During the wars in that area, the wine yards were destroyed.
After more than 12 years, have the wine yards regown as I haven't seen this wine on the shelves in years?
Can you buy it anywhere these days?

Its still available, but it is now called Lutomer Laski Rizling -- that is because the grape variety is not the same as the famous Riesling of Germany and Alsace and therefore cannot be called just Riesling in the EU (Lutomer is the winery).

Someone else says it is available at Majestic but since it is not listed on their winelist (see www.majestic.co.uk) I'd save yourself a journey there, but it is listed by Everywine -- see http://www.everywine.co.uk/invt/18100

If you want to find a stockist near you, you could contact the UK distributer of Lutomer Laski Rizling -- they are 'The Drinks Group' and their contact details are here http://www.thedrinksgroup.co.uk/contact_.html

And you might want to look at the Lutomer winery website -- http://www.ljutomercan.si/eng/vina.html

Hope you enjoy the wine when you find it

Quite right too! Lutomer R. is only superior to Lambrusco in the wine stakes.. try a good gewurtztraminer even from the new world.. you'll not regret it!
