+ a little research that I did yielded this:
This medal was first made available to veterans (British and Allied) of the Dunkirk evacuation and later administered by the now disbanded Dunkirk Veterans Association. It was created by the French National Association of Veterans of the Fortified Sector of Flanders and of Dunkirk and awarded in recognition of the sacrifice made between 29 May and 3 June 1940
I think you can get it if you follow the directions in the link below.
The first link is informational.
A little more the people that originally awarded this have disbanded in the year 2000.
Good luck and my gratitude for your sacrifice and service

Don't think they awarded a Dunkirk Medal,Your having a laugh.Been there done it and yes I do have medals.I admire what all our forces did and are doing Jmurphy4u So stuff your insults,I presume you may have medals for dancing or pottery making. Many ppl make sacrifices in war and peace and don't get or expect medals think about the lads on the Russian convoys these ppl were ignored till last week I know one man threw his into the Mersey as he took it as an insult after all you cant live on a piece of tin.

You deserve every medal you can get, my best luck and wishes go out to you.
As for FRANK M you sir are a dick, and should have some respect, you would have been first on the boats at Dunkirk screaming for your Mummy! It's a shame men like this fought for idiots like you.

Yep my gratitude for you. My Grandad was with the 8th Army in Africa and Italy and never recieved the Monte Cassino Cross from the Polish government when his unit was awarded it. I found that it was a limited strike and no longer availible, I wanted to present it oo him. I could have bought a fake online but he passed before I did it, I also tried to get his records from the UK ministry of defense without luck. My great granfathers WW1 Records where destroyed in a bombing raid during WW2, I certainly wish you the best of luck in your search and hope you get it.
