Why or why not?

Also why do people keep voting for a murderer in Mass?

Can't they find someone else who isn't guilty of homicide to represent them?

I think no amount of jail time would ever come close to what he has already paid for that crime. Society can never punish him more than he has punished himself, and still does. Why do you think he drinks?
Everybody thinks John and Robert were such great men. Pillars of the community who did so much for this country.
Ted Kennedy has done more than those two put together when it comes to helping people.
Don't insult peoples intelligence, they don't keep electing him because of his name. They elect him because he's good at his job.

I'd be really careful about that. If he was convicted and they put in in the electric chair he could burn the whole prison down. Mixing vast quantities of alcohol with all that blubber could set off a blaze that hasn't been seen since Mrs. O'Leary's cow kicked the lantern over.

People in California voted for a guy who can barely speak English for their governor all because he was the Terminator...he can't even say California for Christ's sake....granted old Ted has done some questionable things in his past I believe that there are many crooked politicians out there and he has done alot of good for the state of Massachusetts. At least he isn't an uptight Republican who thinks that they have the right to tell women whether or not they can have abortions or tell gay people that they don't have the right to be married....he has an open mind and he cares about the rights of all people of diverse cultures and beliefs....

John Kennedy and Laura Bush should both be brought up on vehicular manslaughter charges and have to serve every day of their sentence, just like any of the rest of us would if we killed someone.

this should have happened 40 years ago. they keep voting for Him because His name is Kennedy. I hate to burst their bubble but , there has'nt been any magic in that name for almost 40 year's. John or, Robert, He is not. Yes, I am a Democrat.

At the very least Manslaughter charges. He is a dispicable man and the voters of Mass. should be truly ashamed for having elected him, over and over.

I think he should be. But the priveleges of power and wealth in Washington, unfortunately, do not allow Congressmen who commit crimes to receive more than a slap on the wrist.

You are right, he has never been charged. Therefore he has never been tried or found guilty of anything and the people of Mass. aren't voting for a "murderer" -- they aren't buying yout line of BS.

By your line of reasoning Laura Bush is also a "murderer" -- she ran over and killed a man and also was never charged with anything.

He didn't murder---he was drunk, and had an accident. He couldn't save the girl. He left her there, because he didn't want to get caught in adultery. He didn't deliberately kill anyone. But I'm sure he's in serious need of therapy, and of course, is not fit for the office he holds

No. it's too late for that, but he should resign. What
the US really needs is "term limits" on congressmen
and senators so they don't stay in office indefinitely
like he seems to be doing.
