Currently, this is the book I'm reading. I am on page 50 or so. So far, I find it quite intriguing.

Yes. It is required reading in most Protestant seminaries. Keep it, as you will use it as a reference all your life. It is quoted quite often. I highly recommend all of C.S. Lewis' books.

I find it to be sheer propaganda. I was told it was a logical look at the existence of god, and I see that it's actually a collection of speeches during the war to inspire people. Hardly the time to look critically at the existence of god.

For instance the whole idea that there are certain levels beyond which discourse can't go. He sees this as evidence of a natural law. Read some Stanley Fish to see a completely different persepctive on this phenomena that has nothing to do with the existnce of god and makes far more sense to me.

Yes, parts were required reading in my college philosophy class.
