nope... Got dumped by a guy, said one thing about another guy a few weeks later. Next thing I know he told me he was jealous, and calls me everday again now.

No, I don't think they hide it. Some men can be right out jerks when there are jealous. I can always tell when one is jealous; they become loud, obnoxious, and act like a 2 year old.

Jealousy is an ugly emotion and comes in varying degrees... if
a person is overly jealous they will hide it at first but it will surface
as your relationship deepens....

Because it makes them feel less macho. they don't want you to know that they care about you enough to feel jealous, because showing their feeling make them feel less manly.
