all of a sudden, audio files cannot be played in my computer.
windows media player said there might not be a sound device installed on this computer...and even videos cannot be played as well because sound device cannot be found.
But if someone on msn send me a messenger, i can still hear the sound. so there should be no problem with my audio driver or devices.
anyway, i still install the audio driver again, but still...
i opened the control panal, click sound, and i found the button of playing the system sounds is grey, means i cannot click it.

what shall i do...

locate what style of sound card you have and then get the drivers for it online and reinstall them. i think of an audio gadget is the audio device and the sound gadget is the sound card.
