if im on a road trip how should i live? during thie period?

im briniging a friends with me but how should we do this? ?????only serious answers please i have no idea because were going around performing music so yea

I'm not sure exactly of the question, but where you are travelling can make a difference (US, Europe, Oz). To save money, you can camp or stay in hostels, possibly even trade work in the hostel for free rooms. Lots of backpackers will pick fruit off bushes and trees growing wild along the way. In Europe, there are often pubs that have happy hours with free food as well. In the US, you could offer to work at the diner (dishes, etc) for a meal.

Don't beg anywhere though, every country hates beggars. In France they will spit on and even beat beggars. You've got to offer something, whether a service or busking with your music or other skill. I never give money to people that just ask for it but I have given a dollar or two to someone that is non-threatening and asks to wash my windshield or pump my gas for me at a rest stop because they need a dollar and want to earn it.

Are you performing in clubs or street performing? If street performing in Europe, make sure you know where and when the festivals are for top busking return and also know any rules & regulations that may apply to busking if you want to stay out of jail. Good luck and have fun.

Read Into The Wild to prepare for a journey. Get a KOA camp list, you can camp with access to running water for little money. Be careful. Good luck
