You've told me who the Father and Son are, but who or what is "The Holy Ghost.".? .Why is this called the "holy trinity"??

THE HOLY GHOST - HOLY SPIRIT was released from JESUS physical body upon it's death to fill the disciples in order for them to continue their ministry. this same HOLY GHOST - HOLY SPIRIT continues to fill Christian Believers of today to fulfill the same purpose as I understand it

there is NO trinity, it was made up 300 yrs after the church started.

the Holy Ghost is God working in salvation, it is a title not a name, it is also called the Comforter. it is the power of God working in you, and is required for salvation!
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost is like the source of EVERYONE's spirit. The Holy Trinity is the 3 of them as one, they are our source(s)for love and faith. Tri- means 3. When we die, if you are a good faithful person, the Holy Ghost ascends u to Heaven. Like an universal escalotor sort of, but please be careful when talking about the Holy Ghost, as it says in the bible that u cannot go to heaven if you blasphemy the Spirit. You will not be forgiven ~ so believer or not, just steer clear of speaking badly about it, nobody wants to go to Hell. :o]

The Holy Ghost is the third part of the trinity He is the one that draws us to the truth and seals us when we Believe in Jesus to save us.He
also indwell EVERY BORN AGAIN believer to lead and teach us how to walk like Jesus.He is our comforter in times of troubles He is VERY WONDERFUL!
