Being funny is good. As long as you are serious when it is necessary (like if she's upset about something, etc) then there is no problem with being funny.

Laughter and humor are great characteristics. Don't worry about what others think so much as just being yourself...
You are who you are and that's a good thing to practice and it's easiest... Nothing is more of a turn off then a man trying to take on the persona of someone they think you want them to be.
Of course inappropriate humor at inappropriate times is a sign of immaturity and you should probably hone your manners and skills. Remember to always be a gentleman and you'll be fine.
When you are serious about someone, there will be plenty of seriousness, so go out and have fun....
act naturally

I've a decided preference for people who are funny and choose to be around them, male or female more than those who have less well defined senses of humor.
If there were two guys I was romantically interested in, I'd very likely choose the funnier of the two. I wouldn't AUTOMATICALLY assume that because he kept me laughing most of the time during our initial dates that he wasn't capable of being serious when it was appropriate to be serious.
However, if later on during those times when it was important for him to be serious and he showed himself to be unable, I'd probably begin having second thoughts.

You are one of the happiest person in this world. Be as you are and keep on making people happy because this is the best job one can do in their life. Don't be worried thinking whatever other people think about you, don't get into masks; do whatever comes naturally- that is the real YOU.
As far I know, girls like the guys who can make fun.
Good luck and carry on.

Nah don't worry about it. It's good to have a sense of humour. But if she talks about something very serious like her relative died or something, don't make a joke about it.

wow, same thing with me, i make ppl laugh all the time (without even knowing what i said......) and then sometimes when I am saying somethign serious, nobody takes it seriously!! my advice to you and myself is: someone who is really worth your time cares what you have to say, and knows you well enough to be able to talk to you seriously, my best friends and i can have like the most serious conversations, but no one else. so sum1 worth ur time will be able to understand you.
