Home made Pizza topped with Roma tomatoes, Basil and Pancetta
Italian loaf bread cut on an angle to 1/2 in thick lightly toasted with EVO topped with slice of Roma tom's,Basil leaf, Mozzarella cheese and pancetta, lighty heat in oven. Ok I'm getting hungry here.
Penne pasta maranara, rough chopped Romas, 1/2 cubed Italian squash, Basil,parmasan cheese topped with fried pancetta. Oh stop me please!!! Is that Sophia Loren over there?

Pancetta is an Italian bacon that is cured with salt, pepper, and other spices, but is not smoked. Unlike English and American bacon, which are taken from the sides and belly of the pig, may be smoked, and are usually cut into slices, pancetta comes only from the belly, is salt-cured but not smoked, and is generally sold rolled up into sausage shapes

Pancetta is an italian form of bacon. It is pork belly that has been salt cured and spiced, and dried for about three months.
