I agree with the others that you should seek help with this problem.......BUT as a self harmer myself, I know that no matter what anyone tells you, you will still go ahead and cut. I'm not going to give you any new ideas of things to use, but my advice is to make sure that whatever you use is clean - ideally boil the blade in water for 10 minutes then let it cool before using it. Don't reuse blades without cleaning them. And make sure you have sterile dressings for afterwards.

oh I have lots of ideas as a cutter myself...I started with a nail scissors and over time started using razors. When I don't have a razor, I tend to use ANYTHING sharp. from a paper clip to a mechanical pencil, But why would you ask something like this? If you are a cutter....it makes you sound like a poser, and if you aren't a cutter....this question has no significance. Cut equals sharp....it's not to hard to find something sharp in the time of need. Try to stay as sterile as possible, and take good care of you wounds. Try snaping rubber bands and scribbling in red pen to help you quit and try to stay strong.

Talk to someone you know about this. You can treat your depression and feel good again. You don't have to go on living in hell. Talk to a family member or someone who can help you improve your life. If you are involved with other cutters you HAVE to get away from them. Finding your positive attitude again IS POSSIBLE. Don't try to mutilate yourself. And if you are doing this because someone told you it was a cool thing to do - they are WRONG. You can get a handle on your own life and get back in control.

I don't know why you would want to. The obvious answer is a razor blade. I hope if you plan on doing this you will first go to a psychiatrist!

A bad scene LOL! or a pretend knife, cutting is serious please instead of this ask a Q like "How can I stop cutting?" or :what are some good treatments/websites for cutting?"

I use kitchen knifes, but box cutters are good too. The sharper the knife, the less painful it will be. It just depends on what you want: blood, or pain.
