I'd suggest taking about 3 steps back. Calm yourself down and put things into perspective. She isn't something you can own, so you shouldn't be jealous. She isn't something you can love with all your heart and that just be enough... she has to return that love. Lastly, she has to be available and unless that distance problem has some way of solving itself sometime in the immediate future, I'd start looking elsewhere, bud. Your on the fasttrack to a huge heartbreak and let down.

If you trust her and you treat her right, then I don't see why you should worry about losing her. Be there for her as much as possible and she won't have to leave, and if you say that is only long distance for the moment, then is a test of how much you both care for one another.

I have definitely felt that before in my life -- though I'm now happily married and fortunately don't suffer that way anymore. Remember that the more you worry, obsess and cling (if you have that tendency), the more of a turnoff it becomes to your mate. It was a silly poem, but it has a very powerful message . . . "If you love something, set it free; if it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never really was." Hold on loosely, and you'll be just fine!! Good luck!

hell yeah love hurts. Last year this time my boyfriend and I of 4 years broke up, we were hookinh up with other people and lying to each other about it, but at the same time we were still communicating how much we love each other, miss each other, and that someday we would be back together ( of course theres more to that than this) I felt so crappy it sucked!

God damn funny how others are experiencing the same. I too am going through this same situation.

I think in time we will learn to have to let go because of the distance...

but if shes ur GF then thats different :)

I love my husband so much that sometimes it hurts to even be away from him while he works. I do go through my jealous phase but I just keep reminding myself he is mine and I can trust him. Just push the jealousy aside and tell yourself all the things that make you love this person.

Anytime love is in the picture it's hard not to be scared of loosing that person. If it is meant to be then you will be fine in the long run just remember not to be so jealous that you run her off.

It can be hard not to worry. Just know that it is nor her problem... it's yours! I love my husband like that and it's tough! But you have the reward of them loving you back!
