My friend suggested we take it home and cook it, but I found the prospect of stuffing a 4 foot long deer into the car, cutting it up and putting it in the oven just a bit too macabre. So we left it in the ditch. What would you have done?

Only if you mean to Run it over .... if it by "Accident" you can take it as its " Road Kill " ( UK Law )... but if its Tagged ( Check the Ears ) you must report it to the Police as its another persons property... And you Can Claim on there insurance .... Your car will be damaged from the accident... its Down to the owner to see that his/hers live stock cant enter the queens high-way.

Enjoy your venison.... ( Hang for 6 hours bye the rear legs.... cut the throat to Bleed it...) then skin & Joint.....

Yummy with Greens and Roast spuds.

If you make informed decisions and approach your penny stock investments with the same thoroughness that you’d use in your other investments, you too can unlock a whole lot of profit potential. Learn here https://tr.im/dEq7d

It’s absolutely true that penny stock investors can make very quick gains. Synutra International, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYUT) is a great example of a penny stock. This dairy-based, nutritional-products company has jumped from a little Bulletin Board operation to a billion dollar corporation. The company finally graduated from Over-the-Counter status to the NASDAQ Stock Market bringing with it 113% gains in less than two months.

This happens all the time and it’s how some of the best investors in the world became the richest investors in the world. Buying some shares for pennies on the dollar and selling at $10 or $20 is possibly the fastest way from being a hobby investor to a super investor

Not sure if it's illegal to run over a deer! Have heard that if you are responsible for killing it you can't actually take it home and have a good meal! The next driver along can though ! :)

I dont think i't illegal to run one over (these things happen) but I think that you are obliged to call the police (or similar).

There is a cookbook out called The Roadkill Cookbook - maybe you should invest in that!!

if it was accidental (in that it ran out in front of you, and to avoid it you would cause an accident) then no it is not illeagal. However it is illeagal to take it, the person/people behind you can pick it up though. That law also appplies to pheasant and other game.

it's not illegal to run it over, however it is illegal to then take it and eat it. anyone who finds it after you though, can have it.

that's UK law anyway, it depends where you are

If you did it accidentally check the law, you may be able to take possession. Here in the USA it is sometimes OK with permision. If you did it deliberately, then that is illegal.
