How do i delete this virus on my computer?

I have a virus that a item on my desktop, called Yinstall, and it wont let me delete it. Every time i try nd delte is it sais "Cannot delete Yinstall, Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use."

How can i get this off my computer. My norton Antivirus wont delete it. It said it cant cause the access is denied.

Try deleting in safe mode.

Hold down F5 on startup and delete when it is in safe mode.

If that fails...

Try going to start

from start go to run (Start > Run)

click run and type in msconfig

this virus may be running on startup so from msconfig box that pops up, go to the startup tab and uncheck the box that may be the virus that runs on startup.
