Get him to the vet immediately. Don't panic, however. I have had cats who have gone on a hunger strike who have recovered nicely. If the cat is drinking water he will not die immediately.

The vet gave one of my pets an IV and he perked right up.

Has your cat been under any extra stress? If there is something different in his life, such as your getting another cat, that may be the problem.

I am not sure what his nose turning brown has anything to do with it. But a cat that has not eaten is cause for concern. Try to keep it hydrated until you can get it to your vet. Your vet may want to bloodwork, fluids and maybe keep it in the hospital overnight.

Make sure you get him to the vet as soon as possible. He might have some kind of mouth cancer like one of my cats had. If the vet tells you that there is nothing that you can really do except try to get him to eat, then unfortunately he's not going to last much longer. I had to put my cat to sleep because I could stand to watch her suffer.:(

Please, don't wait until tomorrow, but call the vet NOW!!
(it's a well-known fact cats try to hide in corners or dark places when they don't feel well at all, and are close to dying)

Please again, call your vet now, and see if your cat can still be helped, and if not (God forbid) be humainly euthanised! Either way, your cat will be grateful to you for any help now.

Wishing you strength.

oh, i hope all is ok. I had a kittie one time that did that. Problem was that she ate a mouse and was totally constipated. Give it time. Also me and my husband forced her to eat we gave her Ensure by a droper and bathed her cause she wouldnt move after a couple of days she was fine. But I would take her to the vet tomorrow good luck sue:)

if he's just sitting in the corner not doing anything and hasn't eaten for 3 days, then i would say he's very sick! get him to the vet now!! or get a friend to take him.

Very ill, get him to the vet now. He is dehydrated severely and this can cause kidney failure, so even if he gets well from whatever else is wrong he's going to have kidney problems longer if you don't get him in immediately and on IV fluids.

why are you chatting with end strangers on the cyber web - get her to the vet ideal now or you're growing to be a lifeless cat via morning - that's fairly unlikely to have something to do with the kittens, yet whilst despite the fact that is affecting crafty is contagious, then you are growing to be 3 very unwell cats to shelter, so hop to it and make contact with the vet NOW!!!
