I prefer to answer polite respectful questions that make me think, and questions asking for help or prayers. Usually I pass over what I consider hateful, rude, and vulgar ones.

Peace Be With You,
Debra

Questions about Buddhism. Thoughtful questions. Polite questions. I usually skip over obvious hate baiting questions and ultra silly questions. Then I notice the avatar of people I like. I at least give those a read over. If I don't have anything to contribute I don't answer usually.

I always read your questions Debra.

I personally prefer three types of questions. Those that (a) have some substance and require a substantial answer, (b) are seeking verifiable information (such as a word definition or a point of historical importance or a question about doctrine), or (c) are asked by someone who appears to be earnestly searching for something that they don't know/haven't figured out.

That said, I will answer some impolite, disrespectful, hateful questions if the answer I have can cut through to the heart of the matter.

All kinds draw my attention, and they all make me think. They don't have to be polite and respectful to do that, either. I understand what you're trying to say - some of us need a lesson in manners. Well I can be polite, and I can be mean, but I prefer to hang out somewhere in-between. I gotta be me, Debra.

Acyually I like the silly ones, which are not hateful, rude or vulgar. The serious religious people always ask the same questions. It gets old. If there's something I can really help someone with, I'll answer.

I read nearly every question, but answer comparatively few. What I choose to answer is directionally proportionate to the amount of pain I am experiencing in my hands. Typing long explanations hurts, so I tend to answer the questions where I may give the shortest reply.

That may not be right, but that's how I do it.

I do read every question posed by people I like. I always read yours.

I like honest, thought provoking, & silly questions. Ones I can relate to or sincerely help someone. This is why I am here, help and sincerity. Oh & I have questions myself. I like to answer the mean ones w/ blind love ~ sort of killing them w/ kindness. They never choose me as best answer , but that's alright, I just hope they read it.

I have a few favorite questioners that I tend to look for the questions of. I also tend to read questions which seem genuine, about Islam. There are many misconceptions about my beliefs, and a lot of people really just don't know.
