Can you prove:1-That God didn't make us 2-That Jesus was not killed by Roman soldiers 3-That God didn't create the Universe 4-That God didn't save me from a near fatal car wreck 5-That God didn't save my Soul in 1998 6-That the Bible is false..You claim you don't believe..Which is a belief in itself..Prove your belief..And by you asking for proof of God just answer no to all of the terms above and there is your proof.God bless.

John, I answered this same question a couple of times in the last week, but here goes again. You asked if Atheists can prove that there is no God. The answer is NO. Non-existance can't be proven. For instance, you can't prove that there is no tooth fairy. Sure, you can say that you put the coin under the pillow yourself.
That only proves that the tooth fairy didn't come to your house. It doesn't prove that there is no tooth fairy. Same for Santa Claus, or anything else. Non-existance is unproveable.
Now let us hear your proof that it was God who saved you. Many many people are in accidents every day. Some die, some make it. Isn't it strange that many "holy" church goers die while many real ah-soles come out just fine. Why does "God" save some of the worst, and let some of the "holys" live?
I came through a few very touchy operations. I don't thank God, I do thank my doctors.

LOL! How can u ask that question if u can't even answer it yourself! Can u prove that he did make us??? Can u prove that Jesus was the son of God (and of course u can prove that Jesus was killed he was a man, but was he really the son of GOD, how do u know this besides what u read in that bible?)???? Can u prove that he created the universe?? And that Bilble, please that was written by men who claim to be inspired by God and that is not proof......u have no proof, athiest have no proof. This is an issue that will never be solved because no one has proof.....stop trying to prove everyone wrong. If that is what u believe then so be it.

It's not up to us to disprove it, it's up to you to prove it.

I can't disprove that God "made" us any more than you can disprove that Zeus, Allah, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster "made" us.

2-That Jesus was not killed by Roman soldiers
There is actually a very very small amount of historical evidence that proves Jesus. But even if there WAS a guy named Jesus who was crucified by the Romans, what does that prove? You'd have a tough time proving the resurrection.

3-That God didn't create the Universe
Again, I can't disprove that God created the universe, but you also can't disprove that some random Egyptian animal god created the universe.

4-That God didn't save me from a near fatal car wreck
I don't know. I'm sorry about your car wreck, but if God really "saves" people from those kind of things, why didn't he "save" the three people I knew who were all killed in car accidents within the last year alone?

5-That God didn't save my Soul in 1998
I don't even know how to approach this.

6-That the Bible is false
A literal interpretation of the Bible has been disproven by science again and again. The "6,000 year old earth" idea is considered laughable in the scientific community, for obvious reasons. And the virgin birth, the miracles, Noah's Ark... you can't prove any of that. I can't disprove it, but you also can't disprove any OTHER holy books either.

And you still haven't gotten back to me in your other question where I asked you for proof not that there was a creator, but that the CHRISTIAN God undeniably did the creating and all other gods are false.

You did ask '' can you prove ''. I am sorry, but by asking that question you did open yourself up for the answers it looks like you have gotten so far. Can I prove ? Like you, look into my life and I feel pretty confident that there is indeed a GOD. But if you also look into the bible, you will find books and books of predictions? that have and are coming true. Written so long ago ( not disputable ) that it would have to be DIVINE . Israel, the mere existence of that nation after all these years and tribulations. ( hitler ) . Stated in the bible. That they would get their land back and it would be forever. Stated in the bible. How can their victory in the 7 day war? be explained without GOD. They were surrounded and vastly outnumbered but won. They are in a bad part of the world with few natural resources and surrounded by enemies and THRIVE ?

How about Revelations. No man may buy or sell without the mark of the beast . What did that mean ? Now, I think it is happening. Cash free society and fraud rampant. The mark of the beast will be an I. D. chip implanted in your hand. No counterfeiting possible there. So no, I can't prove that there is no GOD.

No One can "prove" a negative statement.

The burden of "Proof" lies with the person making the claim. In court, I can claim you killed my brother, but I have to go find someone who saw you do it or find your gun with your fingerprints on it, etc to "prove" you did it.

I cannot ask you to "prove" you DIDN'T do it, because that is impossible. Are you going to find someone to testify that they saw you "not" do it? You might prove you were somewhere else when the crime happened, but that doesn't prove you didn't pay a hit man, or do something that didn't require your physically pulling a trigger...

Cherish your Faith. GOD specifically asks you to believe without proof. (Thats the defintion of Faith.) By asking people to disprove your faith what you are in effect doing is asking for proof that your faith is correct. Perhaps your faith is not so strong if you need this kind of confirmaton.

Can you prove there isn't a Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus? Can I prove you did not come from another planet? Atheism is based just as much on faith as religion, but atheists want to believe that the universe makes more sense than described in the bible.
