Interesting question. When I was young, I always got on better with much older people. My Grandfather, rather than my cousins and this continued throughout my life up to my fifties. It was always people who were about 20 years older than I was at the time. However, the interesting part is that now that I am the old person (65), I cannot stand old people, all my friends are at least 20/25 years younger than I am............. I am not sure when the change came but I think it was when a very dear old friend died..

I'm 42, have kids in the teens all the way to 24, I get along and have an easy time of relating to people from the mid twenties to 50 or so. Its easier to bridge the gap if you have been there, has been to me anyway. Other my age kinda get vapor locked into there own age group and have difficulty, hell I even go clubbing occassionaly with my daughter LOL Its alot of fun.

It all depends on the person.
I have friends younger, older and same age.

I'm 50 yo and my very beat friend is 25yo... we have a great time... i'm lucky I don't look my age and having a young friend keeps me young at heart... women my age are boring... I love video games... VH1... my favorite music... usher... black eyed peas... nickleback... outkast... I like going to walmart at 3 in the morning... I also have several other friends early 30s... this drives my husband crazy... he's 56yo... he likes watching walker texas ranger and old westerns... LOL... also when it comes to guys hitting on me... they are usually younger... thinking I could teach them a thing or 2... I guess... I think I have made my point here...

Definitely older people. I think I might be emotionally and intellectually older than my physical age.

It doesn't matter. Two people can get along with each other no matter what age you are, as long as they are not minors, if it is a sexual thing.

I have always had older friends,don't know why,I guess all the card groups I played in when I was little!
