the army can bust your rank for anything. its as easy as your NCO tearing that little patch off the front of your uniform and sending a form up the chain.

no. They can't take your rank away if you fail an NCOES school anymore. If they didn't initiate the flag, it's their problem. I don't know the reg number , but the title is something like, "Enlisted Promotions and Reductions".

They can certainly try, but it won't stick if you fight it at all. If they do, go to IG. Even if they could, they would have to explain why they didn't follow proper protocol to begin with.

Sure they can....but the platoon SGT and the 1SG will have a lot of explaining to do to the S1 and the BN SGM..........Did you get promoted to the NCO ranks or to E4 ? That can also make a big diff.

AR 600-8 read it but i dont think so because they failed to update you status in the arlass its not your job, Unless youre in s1

Yes. You can be busted back to a lower rank.
