I plan on going to college to become a photgrapher and i really want this camera but i cant find it anywhere and i was hoping to get a used one for cheaper. Please.

You will have plenty time to get a hold of one as most college courses in photography start with 35mm standard film cameras.
You could try one of the auction sites for a second hand one.

Shop for a 20D instead. Canon users were seriously pissed off that the replacement 30D offered so little new stuff. Even the cheaper 400D has more megapixels and dust-reduction.

Dave is right about using film in a class, but check eBay. You may start to see some used or refurbished 30D's by now.
