Many years ago, I had a recipe for Jezebel. It consists of apple jelly, Coleman's powdered yellow mustard, and I think horseradish. You mix it and let it sit for about 4 weeks. You pour it over cream cheese and dip it with crackers or bread. Absolutely delicious. However, I don't have the exact measurements. Does anybody have this recipe you can share with me?

Jezebel Dip

12 oz. bottle of Pineapple Preserves
12 oz. bottle of Apple Jelly
1 or 2 tsp. dry mustard
1 jar of horseradish (drained)
2 tsp black pepper (optional)

Combine all above ingredients.

To serve spoon sauce over an 8-oz. pkg. of cream cheese.

Serve with Ritz type crackers.

Can be made a day ahead and it stores very well.

Jezabel Spread
1 block of Cream Cheese
1 jar of Pineapple Jelly (or Preserves)
1 jar of Horseradish
1 box of crackers

Spoon the pineapple preserves into a bowl. Add horseradish to taste, (the hotter the better). Pour over cream cheese. Eat with crackers.

Jezebel- Party Appetizer


16 oz. Non-Fat Cream Cheese
Shrimp Cocktail Sauce
1 Package Autumn Harvest Shrimp Dip mix
1/4 Cup Fresh Milk (Check Date)
Apricot Preserves
1 Box Party Crackers (See Below)
Add milk, cream cheese and Shrimp Dip mix to mixing bowl. Beat until smooth and thick. Place on a platter and shape into a mound.

Cover with shrimp cocktail sauce. Stir apricot preserves until smooth and drop by Teaspoons onto top and sides allowing it to mix and run into the cocktail sauce.

Party appetizer time, here we come...! Serve with Townhouse or Hi-Ho crackers. Heavenly and Delicious...!
